Vicar

Fr Corniel became our Vicar on 20th June 2024. He trained for the priesthood at Ripon College in Cuddesdon, whilst at the same time working at St Saviour’s Church in St Albans, as well as at St Albans Cathedral. After this he served as a Curate at St Saviour’s for three years before becoming our Vicar.

Before training for the priesthood, he founded and then ran a Fairtrade coffee company, worked in residential social care with vulnerable children and young adults and studied Psychology. Fr Corniel is married to Kim, who is also an Anglican Parish Priest, in the Diocese of London. They have two daughters - and a dog who accompanies him to church most Sundays.
